About the service

Implant dentistry is a discipline of dentistry that focuses on the placement of dental implants, which are titanium devices that are surgically inserted into the jawbone and replace the function of natural tooth roots. These implants are highly biocompatible and integrate completely into the body, which makes them an excellent option for those seeking to restore their smile and improve their quality of life.
In our implant dentistry service, we specialize in placing high quality dental implants for our patients. Our team of highly trained and experienced dentists uses state-of-the-art techniques to ensure that our patients get the best possible results.

Why choose dental implants?

Dental implants are an excellent option for those who have lost one or more teeth due to injuries, periodontal disease, or simply the natural aging process. Dental implants can significantly improve the appearance and function of teeth, allowing patients to eat, speak, and smile with confidence again.

Additionally, dental implants have many advantages over other dental restoration options, such as dentures or dental bridges. Dental implants are longer lasting and more stable than dentures, and do not require the use of adhesives or glues to stay in place. Dental bridges, on the other hand, require the removal of some healthy tooth structure to place them, which can damage natural teeth.

Dental implant placement procedure

The dental implant placement procedure is a multi-stage process that begins with a complete dental evaluation. During this evaluation, our team of dentists examine patients’ teeth and gums to determine if they are good candidates for dental implant placement.

Once a patient is determined to be a good candidate for dental implant placement, an appointment is scheduled for the procedure. During surgery, an incision is made in the gums to expose the underlying bone. Next, a drilling is made in the bone to insert the dental implant.

Once the dental implant has been inserted, a protective covering is placed over it and the incision in the gums is sutured. The healing process may take several weeks or months, during which the dental implant fully integrates into the bone. After integration has occurred, the protective covering is removed and the denture is placed over the implant.

Types of dental prostheses

There are different types of dentures that can be used with dental implants, depending on the patient’s needs. Fixed dental prosthetics, such as crowns and bridges, are bonded directly to the dental implant and cannot be removed without the help of a dentist. Removable dental prostheses, such as dentures, are attached to the dental implant using clips or connectors, and can be removed.
